In the city: forest park, tower grove park
Suburbs: Katy trail, queeny park
There’s other places to run as well but those are my go to’s

Thanks, considering St Charles so that would put me close to the Katy Trail, any other burbs that are nice along the KT?
What about running clubs?
I don’t know about st Charles but there’s plenty of great running trails in the eureka/wildwood area.
Generally the more south of saint louis you get the more things turn to the ozarks and are generally more outdoorsy. That being said running isn’t very popular in Missouri so there’s not a lot of dedicated running trails, more like biking trails that you can run on.

No, it sucks here. Stay out of North St. Louis, East St. Louis, half of south-st. louis (it's block to block down there). Stick to the KT trail in St. Charles and you'll be fine. Forest Park is nice too. Check out the Big River Running Company for group runs. they are starting marathon team training soon with long runs on the weekends around the area. Also, if you're coming from a drier / cooler climate, be prepared for a gut check when you meet the heat and humidity. It's real real.
Yo don’t listen to people saying it’s dangerous, it won’t be where you are running at. I agree that forest park is a great place to runs but if you’re in st Charles then I would recommend trails. There’s several trail systems around the river such as lost valley and Louis and Clark. If you don’t like trails then the Katy trail is perfect, flat gravel trail
