shut up, wtf do you look like you couch potato. stop judging a 22 year old and get the hell off a site. go do something to better your life
you have no idea what you’re talking about. “cheaterblades” what? did you expect him to go out and run 46 against 54 second runners? for what. why wouldn’t he just save that for tokyo?

The NCAA does not have rules governing blades. Instead of adopting the IAAF rules they allow athletes like Woodhall and AJ Digby (D3 who completely altered what teams won and trophied at NCAAs- split 44 one year) to compete with an unfair advantage.
Everyone should be able to compete just adopt the rules that have already been researched.
I used to think Hunter was courageous and brave to be working hard and running in college. Now I lost ALL respect for him. He was KNOWINGLY using blades that would even give him an unfair advantage against OTHER blade-runners, so a MASSIVE advantage against leg runners.
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? Y’all believe anything that comes on this sh*tty website. i’m tired of having to stick up for myself and for my people. it’s annoying and quite frankly down right disrespectful. you have no idea what you’re even talking about.

What are you talking about? Are you Hunter? Who are you and "your people" that you reference?
It is an objective FACT that blade legs provide an unfair advantage. It's simple physics.
Well said. It's sad that some people have nothing better to do but hate on athletes who are doing an amazing job in their respective event/s.

What about the athletes that are playing fair but are losing to people with springs for legs? Or biological women that have to race biological men? We need to stand up for the INTEGRITY of the sport. If not, then next thing you know a biological boy with no legs will be winning a women's track and field race on a go-kart.

Who cares, he got the girl. Maybe that’s why your so jealous!
I am all for the fight of biological men competing in biological women sports. The Hunter bs is simply bs!!! Stay focus on the fight to get rid of biological men ruining biological women sports.
Hunter is a cool dude in my book!
I did not cheat. Hunter followed the rules. If you would like to change the rules then make a request.

Who are you? What does this have to do with you?
There is no honor or pride in what Hunter did, utilizing an UNFAIR advantage. The biological male weight lifter who made the women's olympic team might win an Olympic medal, but there is no glory in that. The medal will represent cowardice and shame.
The biological male hurdler than won a D2 championship has nothing to be proud of. That trophy will be a reminder of all the women that he STOLE from.
Hunter may have a youtube page and a couple sponsors (mainly because of Tara), but the guilt of his actions will surely keep him awake at night.
I hope that Hunter has a good sense of humor because this is a hilarious thread. The dude doesn't have legs and he is competitive against D1 athletes. I don't care what kind of "blades" he has access to, it is amazing. Plus, give the guy a gold medal for landing his smokin LJ champ gf.

I'm pretty sure this moronic guy is a troll, but quotes like this are ridiculous. It's the Olympic Games - just a bunch of games. Are you not entertained?

Why are you and everyone obsessed with his girlfriend? You are a bunch of creeps and perverts. You've probably never had a girlfriend before, I feel bad for you.
His blades are more springy than human legs and they don't ever get fatigued. The blades allow him to train harder than two legged athletes, without any risk of injury. Those are incredible advantages.

I am rolling over here. You can't cheat by following the rules. He can't get shin splints, turf toe, or calf strain. But he also has to utilize his glutes, thighs and hamstrings differently. Since he does not have calves his start will never measure up to two legs. His leg rotation relies completely on his thighs and glutes.
400 athletes finish the race and immediately complain about their butt locking up. Not their ankles or shins.

You clearly don't know a thing about physiology, as evidenced by saying "thighs" LMAO.
Force production and elastic energy return from the gastroc and the soleus will decrease due to fatigue at the end of the race. Ground contact time will also increase (which is a bad thing). Neither of those will happen on blade legs.
Furthermore, he is able to train his glutes, hamstrings, and "thighs" much harder than two legged athletes. Since most overuse injuries occur from the knee down, two legged athletes have to limit their training as to prevent injuries. This is a similar concept as to why swimmers train more hours than runners, because there is no risk of stress fractures for their additional training.
EVEN MORE, since he does not have legs, more blood flow goes to his glutes, hamstrings, and "thighs" and increases oxygenation of those muscles. This significantly enhances the endurance capabilities of those muscles. Two legged athletes must divert a significant amount of blood, and thus oxygen, to their lower legs.
His blade legs are also lighter than human legs, making him faster. They are also more aerodynamic and create air less resistance.
There's a 50-50 chance Aztec is a troll but I have to admit he makes some excellent points. I'm starting to think blade legs should be prohibited in track and field.
I would have gone with "quads" but until your last post you have shown to base your comments on feeling and not facts. So I tried to dumb it down for you.
The body would not make a superhuman adjustment and provide more blood flow because you do not have lower limbs it needs to support. Prosthetics legs are neither lighter nor more aerodynamic. If you notice the blades are flat in the front where you shin is curved. You can not use lightweight material and think you are going to give support to the rest of the body.
So if being a double amputee have such an advantage then why are they not dominating able body races? If the blades make them superhuman then you would see them running sub 40 400 meter times.
Trying to reason with a troll was my first mistake.
You must think anyone with a handicap sticker has an advantage on black Friday Xmas shopping.
