I've gotta think Simpson has one more in the tank to pull it off.

Than why didn’t you put Simpson in your third spot instead of a question mark 😀?
OK:
1. Purrier St. Pierre
2. Osika
3. Simpson
She's the one I feel most unsure about but I'm now locked in.
Was saying Osika was a near lock for the team before trials, and she's still in the driver's seat behind Purrier, but I didn't like how she looked at the end of both races. Her form breaking down, getting choppy and a bit ragged more than the women around her.
Again, still thinking she makes it, but not as confident as I was when I woke up Friday morning.
A huge factor will be what Purrier did. I heard that she ran Mt Sac how she thought she'd have to run trials finals. All out. If she does that again in the final that *should* play massively into Osika's hands behind her. The slower and more cagey the race, the more I think the chances of McGee and S Johnson go up. I'd almost written Sinclaire Johnson off a month ago but tbh the semis are as good as she has looked in five months.

Agree on Osika.
If what you said about Purrier is true, I wonder how much of that was influenced by trying to beat Houlihan. Without her in the race, maybe her strategy changes.
1. Purrier St. Pierre
2. Simpson
3. McGee
Osika doesn't seem comfortable in a close pack situation. Her best bet is to either hope Elle goes early (no later than 1100) or do so herself. She does not want to deal with Hiltz or Johnson in the final 100.

Agree. Johnson looked like she had a LOT left at the end of the semis, while I thought McGee looked to be more hanging on.
