I didn’t see the race, but if you don’t impede/interfere with anybody else, you’re ok
I was just about to type this, there will be no DQ

Hobbs did not leave the blocks, should have let her run
Agree on letting Hobbs run. English Gardner wouldn't have qualified, though.
Sha'carri may be great but needs to check her attitude.
1500 soon. only event I care to watch.
Didn’t see the races, bad officiating?
Btw love SCR’s sprint attitude ⚡️

Yep, you can't even step on the line but they tend to call it more on the curves where it's an obvious advantage.
Some young sprinters are total a-holes...but it’s a bizarro world. You need absolute confidence, and it does different things to different people.
Hobbes moved and her front foot came off the blocks , she managed to hold herself back with her arms some what though.
Hour and a half to the 100 final. Want to see if the wind dies down.
what's the world record for fastest 400 in fat overpronating hobbyjogger shorts?
In a 200 you can shorten your race by crossing into an inside lane—effectively like the tail in a distance event. If you run a step outside in the 200, and presumably don’t impede, it’s not a dq.
2 reasons:
Most people who frequent the message boards are white dudes/ distance runners.
OR
Her coach, Dennis Mitchell, was banned/ tested positive for testosterone. Then started coaching Justin Gatlin when, guess what, HE tested positive and was banned.
Now she's running all these fast times...

That's why I said if you step on the line to gain an advantage you will get a dq.

Absolute horrible call DQ-ing Hobbs. Gabby Thomas had a blatantly obvious false start
Hobbs flinched, which caused Thomas to jump. Kind of like a false start in football.
Indeed. That a drug cheat like Mitchell is still coaching our stars is a good example of what's wrong with our sport here.
Drug cheats out!
I'm sure she's got a "prescription" for some sort of amphetamine for for "ADHD"
then hearing Ato say she rolls with an entourage of 10-15 in the warm up zone

Nah you said that you “can’t even” step on the line. You can step on a line, you just can’t gain an advantage. There’s no advantage in stepping on a line in the 100. So you can step on the line so long as you don’t impede someone else.
Stepping on the inside line in a 200 will get you a dq. So would stepping on the outside line in 200 if you impeded the trash person who you gobbled you on the stagger.
