The throwers men and woman are like big dogs, no trash talk or excessive barking, no bs like the sprinters, just mellow likable people that act like they belong and don't have to run their mouths and be flashy
Yeah - totally agree. I’m a distance guy but there’s something about the throwers. Always likeable characters and seems like there’s real camaraderie out there. Also agree that Trey Hardee does a great job. Really made it interesting for me.

Go away, idiot.
So you think he’s clean? Sorry bub, if you are breaking world records, let alone by how much he did, you aren’t clean. Everyone at the top of this sport is dirty.

So, Mondo Duplantis is on drugs?
GTFOH
Its clearly the shoes. So, he really threw a foot less if he were not in the super throwing shoes.

Probably. Sorry your so naïve and think everyone at the top is somehow cleaner and better than those who fail tests.
You should've seen Oldfield in his day. Speedo trunks, cigarette-smoking, ranting. I miss those days.

He knew it the second it left his hand.

Field events exponents would never take steroids. Especially Americans, because we know Americans don't dope.
You are a cancer in this sport. Worse than doping. Because it's people like you that give young athletes the idea that they can only achieve greatness through doping. And hundreds, if not thousands, of high school and college kids read these message boards.
Well the cancer seems to have spread, because half the threads on this site discuss doping. I don't really claim credit for other people's opinions. Young athletes don't need my "encouragement" to dope - they seem to be managing to do that without my urging. Like Shelby.

And, he got more "mainstream" media coverage than any current t&f athlete I can think of.
F yes! Boom goes the dynamite! Kovacs had a further throw in warm ups. These two giants are going to wreak havoc in Tokyo. Godzilla ain't got nothing on these fellas
im pretty sure everyone in that shot final was roided beyond belief! and maybe most of the semi finallists as well.crouser wouldnt be able to get much beyond 19 meters without his drug regimen. Not even the russians and belorussian shot putters were ever as blatant with their doping as the americans are being.
Id love to see throws covered with smart stats like they do in baseball now. Velocity. Angle. Length of push. Max power generated.
Yes, unfortunately so. American culture and American media don't venerate those who are thoughtful, quiet, and hard-working. All they want are "stories" & social justice warrior crap to push like they were doing on last night's NBC broadcast. Had to turn the volume off.
