I guess that's one way to beat plantar fasciitis. I wish I would have thought of it...might have saved me 14 months of agony.
doesn't seem like it from his post.
It's making me anxious just to imagine it though.
This makes no sense. No way he can run in the Olympics now and sounds like a wild over exaggeration.
Has this even happened before? No way he can run like that in the Olympics
Probably he is just trying to outdo Mo and his 'ankle injury'.
My wife did this about 10 years ago while playing soccer. She had been fighting plantar fasciitis for months. Then during a soccer game, she stepped on a clump of grass or something and it ruptured and released. No surgery...and it hurt for about a week. But after that, plantar fasciitis was gone. True story
Plantar "release" is way different than rupture.
I think this is actually less believable than Houlihans story. And that's saying something.
This is well-known. More than one person I've known with chronic plantar issues - on the order of months - would first thing in the morning go into the kitchen and jump off a chair in bare feet onto the hard kitchen floor. Worked for at least one person.

Yes but the thing here is that he said he has been alright and isn't pulling out of the Olympics. Man said its pain free now and that he's still running in Tokyo. If this were anything like Shelby he would have pulled out
But if what he said was true he wouldn't be able to run! Ruptured plantars don't heal overnight. I don't think he has said if he is running, just indicated it with the Tokyo flag. How can he possibly run?
well, he is btc with jerry and centro........
With the new supershoes you don't even need a plantar anyway. Most people are having theirs removed.
