on the day of the race
on the day of the race
Thanks.
Hope that the quality is as good as for the Rotterdam Marathon, that was the best internet live coverage of any event that i've ever seen.
thanks for the post
anyone know what time of day it will be in North America.
Eastern Standard, Central Standard, whatever.
about a 6 or 7 hour difference depending where you live.
could be awesome
6 hr ahead of the east coast so most likely the race'll be over when you get up.
According to the race website, the marathon doesn't start until 11 a.m. over there. So at least on the East Coast, no problem catching the finish.
in the Central time zone then (11am - 7 hrs + 2:0x:xx), means that if I am in front of the screen at 6 am I might just be able to see Geb around the WR mark.
sounds like a plan
Thanks
geez, a LIVE feed of a marathon? how freakin boring can it get... i loves me some haile, but that's just silly- 5k splits would suffice, and the halfway split. do you really wanna see every step of the way? don't you have some grass you can watch grow?
This is awesome i will get up at 3 in the morn to watch the broadcast ... hee haaa..

It's only for those interested. I'm going to be out brunching anyway. But if you don't watch it, don't come back, based on what your roommate heard from his long-lost third cousin in the UK, posting an opinion about how exactly haile was dragged, towed, carried, or otherwise paced to a WR.
I'd love to watch the entire race, yes
ditto. amstel bock, thanks for the link.
bump
the start of the race would begin?
5EST-Eastern
4CST-Central
3MST-Mountain
2PCT-Pacific
Is that not correct if it's an 11AM start over there and Eastern is 6 hours behind?

You mean I missed the time change from Daylight Savings Time back to Standard Time? And what's this "PCT"? I've never heard of anything besides PDT and PST.
