If I ran a 2:06 800 with 58/68 splits, how much faster could I have ran if I had ran it with a 2-3 second positive split instead.

2:04 no tmuch difference
How do you train?
1:59 if you had a few boar dick burritos from an authentic Mexican food truck as a midnight meal the night before your race.
True 800m split?
uhhhh definitely way faster than 2:06 pal
Ben true could definitely run at least 1:50 right now
2:02-2:03.
You need to find your opening threshold. There’s usually a pretty specific opening 400m your body can handle without your race going to absolute shiz. Strongly Cross that threshold, and your last 300m is gonna be the most painful jog of your life, barely cross that threshold, and you’ll have a rough last 100m, stay right on that threshold, you’ll have a good race.
A good way to identify this threshold IMO is by finding at what point you can run a 400m completely even split without any kind of lactic pain. That’ll usually be your ideal starting 400m for your race.
