No midsole update from the 37s so they are still garbage. If you like running with bricks strapped to your feet then the 38s pick right up where the 37s left off

For me, the profile is fine as a daily trainer. My major complaint is that it still is too narrow in the instep for me even though I got the wide version in 'design by you'. It also is a bit noisy, as is the case with many Nike outsoles.

React foam is what you’re referring to. It takes a couple runs to break in , but once done the ride is smooth. The padded tongue helps compared to the 37. I saw myself pushing a regular run the other without straining.
So has anyone actually tried both?
