I know it's Covid but it doesn't even look like they are reaching the daily limit. Anyone know what the limit is and the actual attendance is?
Does this prove that Tracktown USA is not real and it's a nike myt?

I’d guess that if the NCAA’s restrictive seating chart is anything like the Olympic Trials, that would be why! the last minute ticket sales and costly overpriced hotel rooms would likely be other another reasons. I’m just glad that it televised since I’m not in Eugene.
where are the fans? wrote:

Very few seats available.
I don't know why people are saying very few seats available? They were still for sale online today. And barely any of the stadium was non-vax social distancing sections.
A few things tho:
(1) Until a few days ago, tickets were only for sale as 4-day blocks, so even if you had no intention of going every day, you had to buy all 4 days, and there wasn't really a secondary market
(2) probably around 1/8 of the stadium was reserved for athletes/coaches, and you had to have been tested to get into it, regardless of vaccination status. these seats were mostly empty
(3) Unlike the Trials/USAs, family/friends of qualifiers only know 2 weeks out whether they made it
(4) Even if you were confident people you care about would be competing, they didn't announce there were going to be fans allowed until like 2 weeks ago. Not much time to plan any travel.
