Pretty much tied for second when you factor altitude.
Altitude where?

Happy for Katie rainsberger 9:32 steeple in her first year of steeple ever. Pred nearly every time she raced, and ran really strong and most fearless I’ve seen her in years.
Who coaches the UVA mid-d women? She'd never made NCAAs before and wins it as a senior? That's unreal.

Well now we get to see how they will set up the 10-person 800m final with 9 lanes.
You put 2 in a lane and the two runners work it out in advance who is going to lead them out to the break

Seriously. Never heard of this person before and she rolls a 2 flat to win. Also she looks like she could run a great 1500 — anyone know if she’s ever run a good time in that event?
Yes-agreed. That's probably the compromise between being off the line as she was and having the desired number of push steps in the first half of the hurdle approach or having her her start on the line as the others and then probably needing to cut down on the number of push steps she uses.
She is a graduate student, first year at UVA. She graduated from Delaware

She won the 1500m at ACCs
Wow, good season for her.
These hurdles in the W400mH are way too short. It’s such a joke.

she ran 4:11 and 2:01 very early in the season. If she had chose the 1500 she might have won that.

Sturgis AGAIN!
It's free but I had to make an account.
Holy crap, Cam Sturgis double sprint winner!!!
I REALLY hope young sprinters are paying attention to what NCA&T is doing at these national championships.
Why? It is the worst academic school in D1.
