She won the mini 10k today and I am pretty impressed with that time on that hilly course. Central Park is not fast. I think this probably shows more fitness than when she ran 31:1x on the track a few weeks ago, and she moved up at the end of the race so she seems to be getting some finishing speed. I now think she has really good odds of making the team.
Seidel and Lindsay Flanagan also had strong-ish showings (for marathoners) with ~32:10s. Seidel's having the OTQ in the 10k is interesting bc if she races she will be in thr 2nd heat, and if she wants to help those women out she could be the one to push the last hard early and give them a shot at breaking into the top 3 on time
