He's a freshman?! The dude turns 21 next week. That's ridiculous.

A freshman who can place top 5 in this current field is a beast in my opinion.
He's going to be a great 200-400 runner some day.
This is true. But there were also two freshmen in front of him in both events...
So three beasts I guess
Doesn't matter, this is all just prep for when he turns Decathlete.
Boling's marks in the 100, 200, 400, and LJ already beats Kevin Mayer, Ashton Eaton, Roman Sebrle, Bryan Clay, Damien Warner Trey Hardee, Dan Obrien, etc. His HJ as a high schooler also beats most of those guys' best HJ too.
Just gotta work on those throws and the PV. He's going to break Kevin Mayer's WR by 2024.
More like 2 beasts (Maswanganyi, Fahnbulleh) and their prey (Boling)

a red shirt Freshman who most certainly won't use up all his eligibility.
These guys are grasping for straws because he hasn't taken over the NCAA the way they thought he would.
Sure he needs time, but there are 17 year olds out here hungry as every beating grown men 5 to 10 years their senior. Also, there are 23-26 year olds who have a lot to prove as well and are chomping at the bit.
Boling's gotta watch his front and his back. These next 4 years won't be a cake walk and it'll surely be tougher once he moves on to the pro ranks.
Perspective.
1 of 2 done. He totally sucked, after having killed himself on the relay anchor.
Again, I would not be surprised to see him pull a ham at some point.
He has gone nowhere but backwards in the 100.
2/2
Totally sucked. Totally botched this meet. TOTALLY.
Coaching AND execution fails. Lethal.
All the hype was bs, as I suspected. He will do NOTHING at trials.

A lot of almost elite sprinters would chose decathlon except for: 1) Pole vault, 2) 110m High Hurdles & 3) 1500m.
All other events, sprinters may be respectable if sprinters give effort. Effort alone for near elite sprinters does not mean success will occur for the three events above.
In deca you have to do it all in short order. Those sprint times from Eaton, O’Brien, and now Warner are probably better than what Boling could muster.
No deca talk until he shows anything.
He needs to tell his program to F off. TERRIBLE. Everybody knew this would happen at Georgia.
