If you weigh more than when you ran your PRs, why did you let that happen?

i was this same height and about 155-160 when i ran my best times. why did i let it happen? because i enjoy eating food and drinking beer. have not run enough to even it out. i'm mostly okay with it, though i'm trying to up the mileage and cut back the beer to shave a few pounds and run better. hoping to stay under 180 my entire life. i don't think it will be too difficult unless i lose some major base metabolism for some odd reason.

Good luck with that.
Same height myself. At your age I was around 145-150.
Now with 57 ( Healthy eater with not much alcohol) I am trying to stay below 180. I wish I could get down to 160-170 again but that is probably not happening.
Please report back in 20 years under the same handle.
