Haven't been able to follow the live feed. What was the finishing time? Who won? How did Chep do?

nuts! :O
I withdraw all doubts about Jacob, wtf 12:48
Chep faded bad.
Beautifully executed race. Started patiently in the second pack, closed the gap, timed his kick perfectly.
Fabulous and really pleased to see Katir hang on to 12.50 NR too
Biggest win of Jakob's career. With no Barega/Kejelcha in the 5,000, Jakob's chances are legit at 5,000 if Cheptegei doesn't improve his form a good bit. Still got Wale and Kiplimo of course.
So where are all those people at who were saying McSweyn was a bigger threat than Ahmed? And that Grant Fisher was too?
LOL.
Exciting race.
No need to watch the Olympic final now.

Faster than Mourhit...
Well done. And a lot faster than Baumann.
Great run by Jakob but how about those Canadians. Can't believe we have two have gone 12:50!
Canadian women are also looking pretty good.

I think that’s the only way he can win is push the pace hoping to drop others..just don’t think he has the kick
Katir 4th in 12:50. Danger man.

Kiplimo could potentially beat them all.

Both pacers were gone before 2k, Cheptegei pushed the pace himself the rest of the way, he was toast once the kicking started

Ahmed looked fantastic.

McSweyn had a bad race but has been excellent the last 18 months. Would be foolish to discount him off one off day

Agreed -- I think Kiplimo and Barega are the ones to beat.

I have always seen Chep as a lot of hype and a bad horse.
Kiplimo and Wale have the word.
Knight 12:51 I did not see that coming.
