To make a long story short I ran a 2:00 at the end of May and I'm not running Cross country and I have no races until Indoor season starts it's very important that I hit a time of either 1:55 or 1:56 around Jan/Feb (Don't wanna peak for these times so don't think about this as 8 months out from a peak, rather I aim to be peaking around next April/May) What should I be doing right now in order to make sure I don't peak too early but am still prepping for 800/1500 training while doing high mileage for the first time (65-70). This is a unique situation to have such a long time purely to train what do you folks recommend? I should add basic 400 speed is 53.5 but I've never really trained my pure speed.
