10k world record with an impressive last 1k. What range.

the female GOAT is back
wonder if Nick Willis has anything to say
29:06.82 for those keeping score. At FBK games in Netherlands. Running solo from about 3k on. 👀
Beats Almaz Ayana (ETH) old record of 29:17.45
Jos Hermens constantly hogging all the attention really ruining it for me.
Isn't that just 1 minute slower than wejo's PR? How soon until the first sub-29 woman?
5k record should be easily in reach
Hard not to be skeptical of all these Hassan performances having watched her performances around 3-4 years ago, but I try not to rob myself of the enjoyment of sport by thinking too much about doping.
She is definitely the greatest female distance runner of all time at this point. Greatest 1500 performance of all time, amazing WRs a 1 hour, 10,000, etc. Dang impressive.
Where can I watch it? I can't find any streaming of it on YouTube.

Last 1k in 2:45...no doubt she can run that now. Actually her 29:36 in heavy rain awhile back already showed she had sub-29 potential but that just confirmed it.

To be the GOAT, she needs an Olympic Gold though, and I'm saying this as a fan of her.

Yes, that performance last year in the rain I found more impressive than her races in 2019. It is also the shoes and the lights. Hassan regularly destroyed Gidey in 2019 but the latter ran 14:06 with the lights last year; I thought back than already that Hassan should be able to run sub 14...
The doping anti-apologists did not neat appear yet in this thread.
Those that when they see a runner ahead of others runners by ten of meters
they say: it's the effect of PEIDS.
Crazy there will soon be women running sub 14 minutes and sub 29 minutes
I'm waiting for the Hassan vs Kipyegon
to testimony the destructions of others mythes (and way of thinking minds).

There are far more telling signs than dominance. In fact, widespread use of PEDs would give very deep fields (like for instance 70s/80s Eastern bloc female sprinters or throwers) , not single dominating athletes. Because PED are a leveller, aren't they?

I see what you did there, you big DOPE.
Perfect. So great to see it!

Do you believe on the effect of the new shoes.
It's possible they help on distances >= 5000m (Cheptegei case)
but not sure about lower distances.
Sifan Hassan is on the same spirale as Mo Farah (except she destroy WR while he didn't).
More problems created of the African dominance.
