I'm a freshman (well used to be now), and I pretty much didn't do anything after cross country season until mid-January. I did club track, but even then, we only met three days a week and didn't put in anything over 7-10 mpw (my own fault of course). Hell, I didn't even know much about winter base training until recently. I wanna know if that actually had a significant impact on my spring track practice. I'm a 800(2:13), 1600 (4:57), and 3200 (10:33) guy. I know it's nothing I can change at this point, but I want to train year round to prepare for my sophomore season, so it'd be nice to know.
