Have they announced who is in the distance races? I saw an interview where Willis said she is going to run the mile instead of the 800. Who else has an invitation?

Lauren Ping said in an interview following the AZ state track meet that she would be going to Brooks PR (presumably for the mile). Her mile PR is 4:44.94, from a meet this Spring.
Have they sent out invites yet?
same weekend as NSAF nationals at Hayward field.. seems like poor planning by both.
I saw that Charlotte Bednar is entered in the Girls 2 mile.
Missing:
Newburys
Rheinhardt Harrison
Sydney Thorvaldson
Jenna Hutchins
Brynn Brown
Signed up for NSAF/Nike on the same weekend
Gavin Sherry (4:01/1600) mile, 2 mile
Sophia Gorriaran (OTQ 800) 400, mile
Bummed about the girls.

Thorvaldson had a navicular stress fracture at the end of the indoor season and took time off to recover. I think Hutchins and the Newbury Park squad shut things down and are prepping for a great XC season. Not sure about the others.

Willis v. Ince rematch! With Whitakker for spice!
Nathan Green goes for sub-4:00
John Lester one last shot at the HSR.
Schurr v. Smith should be good...same PRs
Unfortunately a lot of the guys that have run Brooks in the past haven’t lived up to the hype later on.
I remember when Dustin Horter ran the Brooks mile about 3 years back and he won but he’s been a huge bust ever since. There have been some successes but just as many that were probably as good as they we’re going to be while in high school. I guess this is always true.

Looks like Willis switched from the 800 to the 400.
Looks some like very competitive races are lined up!

It's pretty interesting to see behind the scenes. This is by Stillwater, MN senior Analee Weaver. Some well-known H.S. girls in the video, including Roisin Wills, Charlotte Bednar, Lauren Ping (who Weaver shares a room with---they're long-time friends), Mia Barnett, and others. There's even a cameo by Allie O!
Heidi Nielson had a pretty good one too. Look it up. Lot of the same stuff. Willis and Whittaker kept saying they were going to do one around the Olympic Trials but I dont think it came together. These kids love vlogging...
She was ninth in 4:52 and has a 3200 of 10:15. Good job on the video too.
Des Linden: "The entire sport" has changed since she first started running Boston.
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Ryan Eiler, 3rd American man at Boston, almost out of nowhere
Matt Choi was drinking beer halfway through the Boston Marathon
