Mu is wasting her time in college. Could be racking dough in DL meets.
I disagree. She's developing AMAZINGLY well in college and making herself a TON of money.
YOu think if she had gone pro and didn't have the college structrue or coaching, she'd be running like this? I think not.
I remember when my brother was doing his 5th year at Texas. They had an amazing pole vaulter. Weldon was like, "Is he going to go pro now?" Dan Pfaff who was an assistant was like, "His marks are high but he's not ready for the European circuit." The parties, the nightlife, the pressure, etc.
I mean look at the other teen phenom in this one. The 1;58 Brit. She got destroyed. I think Mu is a class above and will go pro shortly but I think she's gotten A LOT out of college.

Tefera slowed the race down.
3rd lap is always the slowest. His 57 seconds quicker than most.
Nageotte get a nice DL win.

He was entered in the meet. Ran the 800 about 65 minutes ago.

He is much better than most of the pacers at these things
Bednarek holding off De Grasse was super impressive. But looks like De Grasse is back at least!

Carrots duh
Bednarek with the blood stained headband FTW!
I think the lane draw and complacency almost cost Bednarek. He took the foot off the gas pedal for a brief moment and De Grasse nearly stole the race. Still a 19.88 and showed some fight at the end. Huge step forward for ADG, though. He looks primed to do his usual thing and get a medal in the 200.

Agree. Quality pacing from Sowinski. He has engaging style of running that makes you want to follow.

De Grasse looked a lot better.
Bednarek with the hat trick. Fast.
I figured Gatlin was gonna jog it. Nice finish by DeGrasse.
Steeple coming up, could we see four under 9.06 for the first time since Worlds?
ok, lets see what Emma can do, good field.
I see your point. I think though that she most likely would have developed anywhere as a pro too. With a perfect body build and mechanics, sky is the limit.
I understand college athletes are not allowed to make money? I hope she doesn't miss out on all the possibilities to earn serious money while her body is still fresh and capable.
