typical tinman fashion, peak at a very young age then riddled with injuries for the rest of the career.
This has got to be one o the dumbest post I've ever read in letsrun history. There are so many people jealous of Tinman and any successful coach, they get on here and just cant' help themselves.
Last time I checked Drew Hunter fired Tinman a long time ago. Guess what? Hunter is AWOL and injured with his new coach. Ritzenhein had like 5 coaches - he was injuerd with all of them.
Here are my thoughts
1) Runners are largely inherently injunry prone or not
2) Tinman's philosophy is pretty much the opposite of one that would lead to a lot of injuries.
3) All runners get injured at some point
4) I think Harrison being injured is good for him.
I've always thought it's good for a talented HSer to geta minor. Why? Then they don't take health for granted. They don't realize your #1 goal every year needs to be this - stay healthy. They don't also realize rule #3 is a fact.
The bigger surprise me today from the HS race was in the boys 100.
Jaylen Slade who 3 weeks ago ran 10.04 (+2.1) was only 3rd in the HS boys 100 i 10.47 (-1.2). I was upset that Slade wasn't in the pro 100.
