Commentator said he had a niggle. Hopefully will be running in Stockholm. You comparing a 19 year old kid withdrawing from a minor meet to potato man 'skipping' the most prestigous mile race in the world?

1:44? That's cute. Good enough to hype him up before choking again.
Championship season and he’s nowhere to be found, AGAIN. No one could have predicted that...
Hey, Coevett... remember when I said we can't trust Max Burgin? Yeah. Thank you. Same with the redhead kid.
Brazier racing tonight for an Olympic spot. When is Burgin going to make an Olympic team?

Lol "most prestigous (sic) mile race" is an oxymoron.
Calm down, calm down.
I was using 'mile' to cover the 1500m too. And Bislett is the most prestigious mile/1500 non championship race of the year other than Monaco, with Zurich and the Bowerman's MILE on the next level down.

Well he has probably another 2 or 3 Olympics at least to aim for. This is Brazier's likely only realistic shot and others appear to be passing him by.
Is this the same Brazier BTW who did it nothing after his fluke 1:43 at 19 until he teamed up with Sleazy Sal at NOP?
If it is a hamstring pull rather than a tear, then he should be back in 2 or 3 weeks. He's probably figured that it's better to skip the trials and avoid injuring it further and be back racing again soon at places like Monaco. The depth is so good in GB now, he wasn't even guaranteed to qualify fully fit. He probably has over a decade of elite racing ahead of him. Coe missed an entire year at 18 and didn't get to the Olympics until he was 24. Brazier had had his fair share of injuries including when he was a teen.
Here's predicting he'll run low 1:43 at Monaco.

Lol so many lies in just two paragraphs.
Brazier will still be a force to be reckoned with in 2024. Hate to break it to you. He also didn't team up with Salazar and he won the US title in 2017.
When is Max's Olympic qualifying race?

Wouldn't you be coherent if you gave the same reasons for Tim Cheruiyot to miss the Olympics?
But no. Tim is Kenyan so he is doping, on potato sauce, etc.
Moron.

Apples and oranges. Tim is at his peak, this was likely his only chance to win gold, and furthermore, he and his coach say that he is not injured. Of course it's possible he is skipping the Olympics to plant potatoes so that he can pick up fat cheques at Monaco and the like.

Nice change of handles.
Now show us evidence that both Tim and his coach said he is not injured. Or is just that another of your endless lies?

Gives him two months to drop a little over half second. Based on how easy he ran this it should be no problem. 1:43.3 in the next couple of months. 1:42.7 in Tokyo.
Certainly possible. Or, like last year, he may get slower. If he runs 1:42.7 at Tokyo, I'll eat my words.
Lol.

Holy frock. 1:43.73?? This is the hurdles guy?
Waitaminute...the kid that finished in fifth in 1:44.51 was Roznicki. He's a year younger than Burgin. Lol. That's crazy.

Nice run by Dobek, it's a great story! I guess we won't have to hear from people who think Giles is gonna roll out of bed and run 1:42-mid or faster outdoors because of a 1:43 in indoors (which is as fast/faster that outdoor with no wind to speak of).
British 800m Men falling apart before Tokyo -
Giles is a shell of himself, he won't make the Finals
Burgin had the most predictable injury due to his over-eagerness early season
Dustin won't make it through the rounds
Webb is an also-ran, nothing special
Rowden has shown the most promise but is only a 1:44.6 man
