On the flotrack podcast kipchoge was asked if he had ever thought about running an ultra, and he said he would love to try a 60, 80, or 100 kilometer run.

I would love to see this happen. I think he could absolutely destroy a 60k, but a 100k attempt would really silence the "Any elite marathoner could be the best ultramarathon runner if they wanted to" debate one way or another.

I would love to see this happen too.
I could see a timeline where Kipchoge drops something insane for 100K, like 5:30:00, and makes the new WR look easy.
I could also see a timeline where the wheels fall off nutrition-wise and Kipchoge DNF's after something like 75K.
Still waiting for him to run a marathon with hills.

And you!
I would love to see Kipchoge run a real 100k race.
He could get potentially the World Record. But 100k is a long way and anything can happen even for Kipchoge. It's very likely that he will run into nutrition issues. That is very common with top runners. He could get blisters too. This would be soooo much further than a Marathon.

lol. why? isn't the goal to find out how fast you can run?

Running a marathon at 4:38 per mile is mind-boggling while maybe running 5:20 for 100K is boring. Finding out whether he would bonk or not is irrelevant.
Anyway, it's unlikely he'll ever run an ultra.

I'll try to run a 2:01 after Kipchoge codes an Android app. Deal?

The thing is, Eluid could learn if motivated to do that, you could never run a 201 marathon no matter what. No matter how downhill or how bouncy the shoes or how many PEDs you take.

This is equivalent to you? Are you really this stupid or just had a bad moment where you didn't think long enough before you posted? Kids in high school can code an Android app. Do you think you're special because you can? Really? You really set a low bar in life.

LOL did you really think this was a good comeback? Literally middle schoolers know how to code nowadays. Like the other guy said if Kipchoge really wanted to, he'd be able to code an Android app in less than a month, and he'd be better than it than you ever would. But you will never run a marathon anywhere near what he can run, no matter how hard you try.
I don't need to see if I can exercise the most. If more people wanted to waste their time, ultras could be competitive. But they don't and they aren't.

Most people cannot code an app by themselves if their life depended on it
Yes, I would like to see next year a Walmsley vs. Kipchoge battle at either Western States or Comrades 'Thon.
