I was typing to fast , I actually meant 9.94 when I said 9.92.

Terrence Laird said his bib is upside down on purpose. Says he wants to be different. Did it occur to him that it looks dumb?

Just checked its 9.94 basic.
What's a good prediction at this point for his 200? Sub 19.6 assuming a continued healthy tailwind? Maybe even 19.4s are on the table?
theres quite a few others doing that
I think originally they do it when they face Texas, since the horns will be facing down. No I am not sure
I thought laird was a 10.1 Basic guy right now, he may drop a 19.6 today and go faster later.
This guy is making the 200m team if he's in shape no doubt.

Yes this is the original reason.
Wind is dying down a little. It would be great if it could go down to 2.0 before the 200m

I long poo pooed his 100m abilities, and frankly his start still DOES leave much to desired. But...it just doesn't matter; his maintenance renders it all moot. Plus his later acceleration on the back end of his drive and transition makes up a lot for his lack of flash in the first 30.
Boling has come off as a little disappointing to me, even after this windy sub 10...but even my highest expectations for Boling didn't put him at the level of where Laird currently is now.

These athletes are all prob too young to remember John Anderson being an anchor on sports center, but he was great. And he is doing a really good job (I in my opinion at least) here
Whatever happened to Kentucky's Abby Steiner. She was tearing it up during indoors. Injured? I google'd but didn't find anything current.
TV coverage of this meet has been great. Interview questions are so much better than the usual.

I’m so happy to see Brandon Miller doing well. So many naysayers, but now he’s gone from busted prodigy to maybe NCAA favorite. His last 200 was right at 26.00. Might be capable of a sub 1:45 right now.

Wow, impressive run.

Legal wind!
Great 200m from Laird, Fanbulleh, Boling, and Lang.
Gotta imagine the 4 is the end game for boling.
And fanbulleh is a hugely promising talent
Laird 19.82 fanbulleh 2nd 20.05
Wind 1.7m/s

Lang and Fanbulleh are both promising talents. Lang has progressed a lot this year.
Great race. Terrible camera angles.
Laird may not be healthy for the Trials. He is holding on and still has to run NCAA Champs.
20.08 and off the podium at your conference champ. That has to be a first of some type.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
