Like I said, it's funny that homeless in downtown areas in Democrat states are held up as the biggest failure.
First, when you talk with those people, you'll find not all of them are from the cities they now "live" in. They're from all over the country, including a lot of Red states they've fled because they freeze to death in the winter. And also because people give them bus tickets.
I live in one of these Blue states that's costly. If it comes down to it, I'd sell my house (at great profit), and move to somewhere cheaper, long before I'd be homeless.
Hey, I bet I can get a real cheap house in a dozen or so Red states, where poverty stats show it's the worst possible place in the country to live. Places like Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, etc. Because, you know, you can simply look at poverty stats, cross-reference with wages, and see without even looking where things are going to be terrible.
