McDonald seems to be much heavier than he was as a collegiate. I remember in one of his youtube videos his dietician explained that's a conscious decision to make him more injury resistant, but he's gotta start cutting the weight if he wants to hit any Olympic standards and make a team.
He already has two qualifiers and looks like a shoe in for both
