Nike happens to be my go to shoe (pegs only). Hoka is just as complicit with $200 trail shoes and other brands with their funny magic race shoes.
Short of the recent magic shoe fad, there hasnt been any real innovation. Its all foam, rubber and fabric. Hence why im asking why prices have gone up.
The only thing seeing greater inflation in our sport than shoes is race entry fees (dont even get me started on race director greed).
in what world do you live where the price of consumer goods is determined solely by the raw materials?
