What the hell is up with Craig Engels?

He’s either building his barn or gathering hay to put into his barn. Possibly running on tired legs, 100mpw.

When you have the standard in your pocket, why bust it crazy every race? Nothing wrong with letting the others who need the standard go chase it while Engels trains heavy and works through pack running ahead of the Trials

He's a flake, a gimmick, not a professional athlete.

Will not make the team this year. Hopefully a wakeup call because he's a huge talent.

I saw him running in front of my house the other day as i stepped out to go running.

Credit to the top-2 guys for going for it & getting rewarded. Everyone else seemed content to race for 3rd, Engels included. Glad Wynne ended up in that spot. At least he did some of the legwork during the race.

3:37 is an alright race for him. People speak of him like he's supposed to be a 3:30 guy.

He knows the Olympics are about to be cancelled, so why bother?

he seems more concerned about taking cross country trips in his van instead of taking this olympic year seriously.

All of you people have been obsessed with the term "done" the last couple months. "centros done, jagers done, huddles done (this actually might be true), moh is done". So he has a 1500m to test his speed right now after doing months of training and he's been at altitude. Lets see what done is like when he actually can run with the worlds bests unlike anyone else in that race

I guess you all never figured out from the mullet he's a lot older than he claims. Like 55 probably.
