Wondering if anyone purchased any of the Tracksmith running apparel? Looks nice but appears very overpriced. Is it high quality and possibly worth it or just overpriced and no better than what Nike and everyone else sells?

No, keep wearing Nike trash.
The fact that you know it exists suggests that it's worth more to you than it is to me.
Well, my son gave me a Tracksmith singlet for my birthday and I have to say it's the best one I've ever had, and my experience goes back to the Dolphin days 40+ years ago.
I've worn a lot of singlets since then, and most were just fine. But the Tracksmith is better.
The technical pieces are absolutely worth their weight in gold. Their shorts especially are absolutely game-changers. I will never go back to any other shorts and have like 6-7 pairs at this point. I will say their casual collections are overpriced but that stuff is just for fashion and not function. If you stick with the twilight collection you will not go wrong. Anyone who constantly talks shi* about it being “expensive” probably just enjoys running in some scrub free race shirt from a meet they did 8 years ago.
It won’t really go on sale but you can find an occasional coupon or at least get the free singlet to make a $150 purchase feel more worthwhile.
The shorts are great. And if you are like me running shorts tend to last a very very long time. I know I own some shorts that are probably 12 years old, maybe older.
I remain a constant size, a solid Medium. I only wear them for running, so 45 min-2 hrs at a time, and I probably have 8-10 pair of shorts, so they get worn maybe once a week. Just really hard to wear something out at that rate.

What? How? I have 4-5 pairs of shorts in my rotation, but I end up wearing crotch holes in them within 2 years (maybe 3 years at best). It seems like you're getting 2-3x the life out of your shorts.
Are you talking about Tracksmith shorts, or do you get that kind of life out of all shorts? If this is just Tracksmith that you're getting that extended life from, then I'll buy some and check them out. The durability would actually make the less expensive ($/mile) than my shorts.
I’m sure it just has to do with your stride and the width of your legs and what-not.
I used to always wear Medium for running shorts and according to my waist size I still should, but something with the leg/crotch opening of mediums just don’t work for me with running shorts. I chafe on long runs and have worn through the crotch in a lot of my medium pair, but I much prefer larges. More room in the legs/crotch and you can always just tighten knot the waistband to fit like a medium.
In terms of lined half tights, I think Nike Aeroswift tights are more comfortable but the Reggie lined have a zip pocket whereas the Nikes have nothing. So that is a plus to TS.
Twilight split shorts are super comfy - the lining isn't that junky mesh stuff, feels almost like a poly cotton tee blend. Sizing on the session speed shorts seems to run larger for me (I wear session shorts to the gym).
Tops wise - Harrier LS is my favourite winter top and if you order remember to get your #FREESINGLET
I cycled out a lot of my gear to Tracksmith over a couple of years just because the fabric, especially on the tops is super comfy, whereas a lot of running gear feels overly synthetic.
Also customer service wise they have always been great. I had a strata tee where the stitching came loose. I'm in Australia so I sent them a pic of the shirt and they sent me a new one.
Shorts and tights are definitely worth it. The liner just feels way better on your boys. And you can put keys, etc in the zip pockets without worrying about it. Short-sleeve and longsleeve offeerings are nice but less of a differential with other stuff out there. Some of the heavier quarter zip tops are pretty nice and I've worn down to the 20F range with just a shirt on udnerneath for layering. "Accessories" are just for those who want to display their brand loyalty, no significant differences versus other offerings.
The lined half tights are totally worth it imo
Damn 20F - don't have that here! I get by in winter with just a LS Harrier, nothing under it and half tights.
Accessory-wise I do wear the gloves too. Only accessory of theirs I have. I like the snot patch haha but I'm sure there are other gloves as good or better.
Why do people even buy apparel from running brands? Many outdoor/XC ski brands like The North Face, Salomon, Odlo, Craft, Under Armour etc. produce stuff that is of much higher quality at a moderate prize.
Yes, yes it is worth the price. Best pair of shorts and singlet i own.
Bahahahaha Under Armor! Come on bro... Also you need to take into account the fit not just the fabric.
Funny that everyone is raving about their shorts. I love Tracksmith, but I don't like any of their shorts. The VC and Twilight shorts are actually the worst shorts I've ever had for moisture management. I'm in the Mid Atlantic, so heat and humidity is a big issue for me. Maybe I'd like them more if I were out west. Same with the VC singlet: while I dig the style, and it's certainly well made, I would never wear something that heavy for anything longer than a few miles.
People seem to like the session shorts a lot, but they're longer than I'd normally wear. (Obviously the same is true of the Falmouth and Longfellow shorts, which are really more like technical casual shorts than real running shorts.) I haven't tried their higher end racing shorts (the Strata, which seems to be only sporadically available and which I think is the same as their Olympic Trials shorts), so maybe those are better.
My favorite Tracksmith items are the tights and the harrier tops. Of all the merino shirts I own, the harriers hold their shape the best and have the best cut (trim but not tight). I do have some merino blends that are lighter weight, but they have so much synthetic blended in that it really compromises the odor resistance of the wool.
I just do, maybe you have a huge dong so you're banging out the crotch?
I find that I end up tossing our running short because I'm tired of them more than wearing them out. Or maybe they are too short and as I get older and slower I feel that I can't really justify that "look" any more.
I'm moving 100% to Tracksmith session shorts. Even using them as underwear.
Just better. keep in mind they have two lengths.
I actually don't love the singlets as much as other people. They hang low on me and I've had some sore nips from them. They're fine, just not as good as the shorts.
I bought some TS casual clothes as a gift for a woman and she wears the stuff all the time.
I think they are making some good stuff.
But they have a pull to weird super retro stuff. I mean Bill Rogers and Dolfin are not design icons. TS can take glossy pix of them but that doesn't make them any better.
Yeah, I wanted a BR jacket SO bad when I was a kid and they cost like $60 and in 1982 or whatever there was no way I was getting that.
The day they released the BR line I looked up actual BR stuff on ebay and you can buy it for like $10.
I've never worn any Tracksmith tops. I don't race anymore so no need for a singlet, and living in the south I have no need for a lot of their line. It's just never cold enough here to justify a lot of that stuff.
It's worth it. Check out my RoadTrailRun review on their gear. I go into details regarding why the fabrics perform the way they do.
