I run a 4:06 mile, pr is 4:06.78 and drink 2-3 beers a night. If I cut down on the beers will my mile time improve?
That's a whole lotta alcohol for your body to be processing on the regular, man. Either you are undertraining so it won't matter if you quit the beers, or you are training about as hard as you can and if you ditch the brewskis your training will improve along with your PR.
