If I wrote don’t call me a cisgender woman, then cisgender would be an adjective.
However, I said don’t call me cisgender, call me woman or female. All nouns!
Please respect that I was born a female and identify as a “woman/female.” These are the nouns which I prefer you use. I take offense at those who place labels on me that I don’t identify with.
Some words are both an adjective and a noun! Cisgender is one of them.
Perhaps you can come up with a word for that,
“cisnoun” perhaps.

There is no gender "assigned" at birth. The doctors report what they see, they don't decide for the kid.

Dear "Sir", it is really not uncommon for people who go outside to find other people who say things that we disagree with. I doubt I would ever call you "she" when talking about you to a friend who is unfamiliar with you, without having some trouble with the sincerity of the word "she", were I to apply it to you.

You are using all of these to describe a noun - yourself, or in one case other commenters. They can be nouns on their own, but when we use words to describe nouns, they function as adjectives.
Think about your original post - when you say you’re choosing your own nouns, you mean words that are used to describe you, a person. That makes these words adjectives.

I’d almost put money on it. But yk, most cisgender people don’t get so worked up about how other people express their gender. Why so threatened?
I can’t imagine being so miserable but with all sincerity I hope you work through whatever about other people asking for rights makes you feel so threatened. You don’t stand to lose anything by letting go of those beliefs and considering some other people’s experiences.

On the topic of being "woke." That's a brush that's used by too many to paint too much. On the topic of BLM, I would be considered "woke" but when it comes to gender issues I'm far from. The biggest mistake I see on this board are those operating on either end of the extreme political spectrums assuming those who don't agree with them on one topic, don't agree with them on all topics.

You’re right that at one point gender roles played a critical role in human survival, but society today doesn’t look anything like society when we relied on that delineation for subsistence. The “cause” you discussed is no longer universal, so neither is the “effect.” If you are comfortable in a gender that aligns with your biological sex that’s fine, but you have to realize that plenty of people aren’t and that’s also completely fine.
