SDSU dude, It seems like you went down that path and made your choices. I am sorry about that if true, it must be difficult. It doesn't make you more of an expert, actually. It makes you more beholden to proving that your views are right. Or at least makes me more , suspicious of your
bias.
I know someone who got electric shock therapy. He can't change my mind that I think that it was a terrible idea.
Right. I'm not in the group of .5% of the population that has a transgender child. I really doubt you're a parent if you believe it's so easy to deal with depression.
If your child told you he/she was gay, could you "fix" that as well?[/quote
What I am saying is that it is not about whether I am a parent and have "stories " of my own to create my own versions of reality for humanity from. That's the way things are done today , I get it, but I am not going to be baited into a discussion on the terms of story telling, my stories are better than yours, right?
The families or parents , that failed to avoid gender confusion from being just a mild situation, and the resultant offspring, who the parents gave hormone blockers, early childhood trans affirming therapies, and other bizarre treatments are the experts , because of their stories and because it didn't happen to me.
Anyway ,, this thread is going to get deleted now, probably.
