Arop is a pretty good bet to pick up a medal at the next global championships.

Decent pick. I do wonder if he has the closing speed to bump Tuka, Hoppel and Rotich if they make the Final. Hoppel's the only young guy of that group, though.

The way Athletics Canada functions, the biggest risk is our potential finalists aren't even selected.
AC's goal is seemingly to NOT send athletes to the Olympics.

Very impressive depth. You have to think that some of these sub 1:48 guys are going to go 1:45 at some point and all of the 1:48 and under guys will run fast 1500s.
You really don't have to think that.
I agree with igcccoh here. Everett is fast. 1:47 - 1:48 is pretty good for a 1500m guy. Those guys are all pretty close in terms of time. I'd probably attribute the fact that Everett consistently finishes as the 4th or 5th fastest guy on the team as more of a mental issue than an physical one. It seems like he lacks that killer instinct or pure competitiveness that winners have. He doesn't seem to have that irrational confidence to really just go for the W when everyone expects his teammates or the competition to be faster.
With the right coaching and training he could have a long and successful professional career where he gets to compete in all the big domestic races but just misses most international teams. He might make a good living for a professional runner pacing the big races.
How how pro coaches do you think are better middle distance coaches than Van Hoy? I will wait.

Van Hoy is the most underrated coach in the NCAA right now. Mike Smith and Ben Thomas get all the love. Even Andy Powell still gets some. People hardly mention Van Hoy and Ole Miss.
