My workouts for 1500: 12*400 63 average, closing the last 3 in 60,59,59 1 min rest; 3*1k 2:40/2:38 2*500 @74 3 min rest; 7*400 59/60 2 min rest; 5*400/300 @61/@44 1:15 rest; 1*1k 2:40 1*500 68”; 4*500 71/72 3 min rest; 7*500 77/78 3 min rest.
5k workouts: 7*1k @2:50 2:30 rest; 1* 2k/1500/1k @2:49 4 min rest; 3* 2k @2:51 4 min rest; I don't do tempos but my 5-mile tempo pace is about 5:10/5:25; I have an 8:24 3k, 10k Road 31:50, 8k Road 25:08. My mileage is about 45/50 mpw, my training is more focused on quality and not quantity.
