You run as hard as you can anyway. Everything doesn't have to be perfect to race well.
Do a nice long warm-up and get hyped I guess.
Stretch, drink caffeine, it's all in your head.
Just get ready for your race.
It's all mental.
Get some rest, if you can.
i have heard this more times than i count from kids who went out and ran PRs. Good warm up, work up to some fast strides. you'll be ready to go.
