My hs son loves his dragonfly spikes but after just a few races (a few 1600s and one 3200) the heel on one of the shoes split (foam separated from the carbon plate). This happened during a race and he was not spiked, or impeded in any way. I called Running Warehouse and the customer service rep indicated that people had been calling in almost daily with the same issue. I took them to a cobbler who said he could glue them but it would be a band-aid and they'd likely split again in the next race. Of course there are no size 9.5 dragonfly spikes to be found anywhere - so the boy is out of luck just as he moves in the championship season (hoping for significant drops in the current PRs of 4:33 and 9:56). Has anyone else run into this problem?
