Right, but the question is when they will tell us that.
They'll cancel the 2020/21 Olympics the third week of May, of this year.

Thanks This is Jim Kiler!
Right around the time the 2021 Boston Marathon get cancelled and the 2022 Boston Marathon gets moved to the fall
hopefully track and field is making some alternate plans for a world championship type event. no reason they cant pull it off, even if it needs to be done in multiple cities.
Never. Sorry lockdown lovers but the pandemic is ending
I've been tracking COVID in Japan daily:
Things are getting worse in Japan, but just in the last couple of days getting worse at a slower pace. Which is good.
Keep in mind that even after a surge in cases in Japan, and a large decline in the US, Japan still has far less covid than the US. They've done well. One of the better nations.
Japan: 132nd worst nation in terms of per capita deaths. Kudos.
US: 16th worst nation in terms of per capita deaths. Shameful.
The problem is that Japan has only vaccinated 1% of the population, and they have a ton of old, vulnerable people. The US has vaccinated over 40%. So the tables may have turned.
^ why it will surely be canceled.
Can't have mild diseases around the few people they can kill. As long as there are old and vulnerable people in Japan, it's off.
They should give all their healthy, not-at-risk people one of those vaccines they don't need and won't stop them from catching or transmitting it. That'll get rid of it!
They are already cancelling Road Races scheduled for September, which is AFTER the Olympics.
So not looking good, if they can't do it this year, just give Tokyo the 2032 Olympics.
Maybe florida or Texas will host them if Japan chickens out. Hopefully Japan does not chicken out

I guess you refer to some small races? or which September races have been cancelled? genuinely interested because the JAAF (
https://www.jaaf.or.jp/english/competition/competition-2021.html) does not show any cancelled race after June 2021

Japan is playing sports just like everywhere else. Just no fans. So there probably won't be any fans. But they'll still have the competition.
I saw some Japanese baseball highlights, they're still playing. And they're running road races, as evidence of that marathon a couple months ago where they had a million sub 2:10 guys.

The "pandemic" never existed.
The question is -- will the Japanese government cave to the globalist elite? I certainly hope not, though I'm not optimistic.
Yeah you're right. Too bad most sheep are indoctrinated by the selfish and fake government and new media.

Oh look, another conservative LRC subscriber. Didn't this thing end in April last year? Summer last year? After the election last year? I thought it was a hoax. The bar keeps moving. Olympics aren't an American competition. The world typically wants to show up, but if people are still dying in those countries why would anybody who's not a right-leaning American want to participate in what could be a super-spreader event?

Olympics host a very large number of athletes, coaches, officials and other country and competition personal. The logistics of housing and feeding them is an incredible undertaking. How does one keep everyone safe? Can't have athletes going and doing whatever they want. Again, because there are dummies in America doesn't mean other countries aren't taking this seriously and don't want to protect their athletes.
