My 800 time is 228 right now i ran it last week right before the 1600 so i went easy. I have a 58 sec 400 not quite all out and a 530 mile. but I'm not really a distance guy.
If you need to know anything else ask

btw I wasn't wearing spikes and accidently managed to run it dead even 113.8 114.3
Your 800 and 1600 times are similar but poor relative to your 400 time. But you knew that and stated you're not a distance guy.
Do you do any endurance training other than racing the 800 or 1600?
Yes you could run an 800 much faster.

I have a litte my coach has had me running with the distance about half the time this last little bit
When is the goal race you have in mind? My prs are similar, a 5:28 and 2:30 for 1600 and 800 respectively (ran same day). I'm more of a distance guy, though.
yes. dig deep. go out in 1:05-1:07 and hang on for dear life. run on pure hate and you can get there. no problem. with your poor distance background, you will probably not be able to hang on with even splits or even 68/70.

Exactly. 2:20 is well within reach with that 400 time. Physiologically? Maybe more "distance guy" stuff. Do some thresholds, long intervals, build up that aerobic engine?
Or...just go harder. You sad you didnt go all out? Maybe you are already there. 55 (all out 400 PR?)x 2 +10=220 for way oversimplification. My daughter runs 230 and has 1:10 400 best. You got this.
sweet
Yes, almost certainly you can eventually. Since your username is 'One race left' though it's a very long shot in your next race.
