Okay, so, I mainly run the 1600 and 3200 in highschool track, but occasionally I will run the 800. I purchased Nike M9 spikes as my first ever pair, but I dont think they were the right choice. These are all my questions:
1. What spikes should I try to get and should I even be wearing spikes in the 3200?
2. My parents watch me run at every meet and they say my stride is different from when I run XC. They say that my stride is shorter and more stiff. They also blame this on my spikes. Can spikes do this, or is it just the change in surfaces?
