One of my wife's Powerbeats Pros failed after maybe 15 uses. They sat dormant for a year before she started using them, so we're out of warranty. Anyway, the right headphone stopped charging/pairing.
When I attempt to reset the case/headphones by holding the button for 15+ seconds, the light never flashes red/white on the case.
I took a voltmeter and checked the two charging nubs, and the voltage was fluctuating at a very low value (something like 0 to 0.26v) on the side that was working. On the side that is NOT working, the voltage between the two nubs is a steady 4.65v.
I have a feeling that it might actually be the case that is failing. Could some kind soul with a voltmeter check their nubs and see what kind of voltage you get on both sides of the charging case? I have a feeling that both sides should be fluctuating in the 0 to 0.26v range but I have no way of verifying.
Thank you!
