I'm a junior at a sub-par D1 institution packing a 3:54 1500m with all 3 seasons of eligibility left. I have plans to transfer to a larger school to get my master's in 1 year starting Fall 2022. Do big name schools generally take graduate transfers with only one year of eligibility left and just OKAY times? E.g. one of the schools I'm interested in is UC Berkley which says Walk-on standards for 1600m is 4:16 and scholarship is 4:08. Do you think they would take someone like me to run for them for 1 year?
