I don't know why they even mentioned El Paso County other than its right wing slant. El Paso County has seen similar percentage increases as Denver, Arapahoe, Pueblo, Boulder and other left wing slanted counties. Douglas County is somewhat higher, but not catastrophic by any means.

I am still waiting to see evidence of a first wave of this "pandemic" in real life.
The media is onto a 4th wave.
Yeah...and there will be a 5th, 6th & 7th wave to keep the masses frightened and under control. This serves two purposes: 1) By frightening people with these "waves," more people will submit to the vaccines (simply out of fear) 2) These "waves" will allow government leaders the justification in rolling lockdowns, restrictions & permanent mask mandates - i.e., control of people.
The United States is transforming to Totalitarianism! 😲
6% of available hospital beds in CO. Occupied by COVID patients. Still have spare beds available if needed. Colorado is doing a good job of control and allowing ski resorts to be open all winter.
Colorado has very fit people compared to rest of USA so that helps too
Close by to those parts and it doesnt surprise me that one of these CO cities took a big hit. It would take northeasterners & midwesterners no more than 5 minutes parked in a parking lot observing the outside world to acknowledge there are seriously inconsiderate, careless and downright stupid people here. On the roads. In parking lots. As they walk. Where they stand. What they do. Everywhere!
If that sudden uptick in cases hopped up to Parker and got to Aurora it would be gameover as the whole Denver Metro would go up in flames.
