Still nowhere near the level he was in high school but I'm glad to see he's finally moving in the right direction. Hopefully it works out for him.
Definitely not hating, he’s very fast and I’ve got nothing but respect for him, but I think the argument around Brandon is that we need to stop hyping up and therefore encouraging parent-coached overtrained 12 year olds.
Everyone was saying he was gonna have a world record by now and crap like that 4 years ago. He’s only improved by a couple of seconds since then.

eh, expectations were probably too high for brandon as a 12 year old but he was far from overtrained.
Hope I don't get heat for being stupid but...
Is he too short to run much faster (1:45-1:43)? Other 5'8 ish guys have had success (Timothy Kitum), and Seb Coe was 5' 9". But he is not built like them.
1:47 is very good in April. Isn't this close to his pr?
How tall is Nick Symmonds?
About 3 inches taller than Miller.
5' 10.

Also I think Miller looks 5'7" and change. Only 1 source on his height.
His 400m pr of 46.86 indicates he had potential to run a 1:45 or faster. Needs to work on his strength 1500/mile strength.
He’s never been a great endurance guy. His XC results were pretty lackluster in high school for his ability.
Obviously a 1:48-49 guy in high school isn’t going to improve as fast as other guys because he was training since such a young age. He is making big gains though, had a really long/bad innjury in high school and I love seeing him being competitive again.
Too bad Sanuri and the Texas Tech guy folded like a lawn chair. Might have ran even faster drafting behind them.
