I’m confused. What about her husband?!!!
I thought she was joining Kara D'Amato's squad?

No, she is a part of Kara's mileage challenge. She and a bunch of pro runners are logging miles against Kara's husband's larger team of average joes. It is not a training group, only a virtual challenge

Pretty clear from her IG that they separated. She stopped wearing her ring, and has been posting about challenging stuff happening in her personal life. I hope everything works out for her, and will certainly be cheering for her now with Team Boss.
You could feel the anxiety and neuroticism in Boulder go up a notch in the past couple weeks.
So who's the most eligible bachelor on TME? God, I hope it's Joey Cheese.
Intimate references like this to Tinman are why our sport is looked down upon, and no one outside of this sport takes it seriously.
The fact that Tinman guys hang out on here is a joke.
But, the first part of that post is pretty funny. I take it she has a reputation in some circles as being a handful?

Their former coach does, but I'd be surprised if anyone currently with TME does.
So what happened to IDP?
Where is the Tinman reference?
If you're not hooked into the pro scene some of this doesn't make sense. The running community seems very insular and clique-ish.

She certainly had the most colorful hair at the Olympic Trials Marathon. Did anyone respond to her IG invitation to PM her for more pictures like that?

ok, i'll bite- what's a tin man?
Running group out of Boulder: https://tinmanelite.com/
How is she a handful?
I do know what Tinman is but what was the initial reference to them in this thread? Was it some sort of in-joke?
The only reason this resonates is because we had girls on our team that transferred out due to reasons similar to what you are saying about her. Constantly their own worst enemy, not only in a team environment, but also amongst friends and in romantic relationships. We all know them, but for some reason this sport seems to breed a particular level of narcissism that can be more prominent amongst the elites that I knew as college team members. Who knows, maybe that trait is what contributes to them being successful. The ones that were constantly unhappy with teammates, friends and significant others though seemed to be the type that almost thrived off of drama. The Jan Levinsons of the world, if you will.
I thought Team Boss was in Crested Butte, not Boulder.
I think they will remove the "God awful" part
Didn’t the BAA group that Emma was in disband? She also hasn’t been sponsored by adidas for several years at this point.

No, of course not. Terrence Mahon peeled off some of the members when he and Rhines bolted for SoCal and their group has subsequently seen plenty of turnover but regardless of your opinion of their current roster BAA High Performance certainly endures with Mark Carroll and Morgan Uceny as coaches.
Maybe the problems with BAA and then the problems with IDP are merely simple coincidence and Bates was just an innocent bystander. Let's give her the benefit of the doubt and take what you see on her IG with a grain of salt.
