Count on jamin to unearth another fringe lunatic. Must be a day with "y" in it...
I thought that we already made fun of this guy.
In short, if he was right, we would still have small pox, polio, and the vaccines for mumps, measles, rubella, etc. would be ineffective because these diseases would have mutated in order to evade the vaccines we use.
COVID 19 does engage in gene proofreading and is actually a relatively stable virus. The rise of the current variants took almost a year and were assisted in large part by exceptionally poor COVID responses (Brazil, UK, etc.).
And that is where the "leaky" vaccine theory fails. When you have a "leaky" vaccine, you still reduce transmission significantly. When you reduce transmission, you reduce the opportunities for variants. The veterinarian seems to think that the opposite would happen and the COVID 19 virus would magically sense that there were vaccines out there and kick into overdrive to create breakthrough variants.
Finally, the veterinarian completely ignores the fact that vaccines can be adjusted to handle variants. He seems to think that viral mutations are the same as bacteria. But there is no evidence of that. Ever.
The veterinarian is just another clown from the group of anti-vaxxers who believe in mythology about natural immune responses. Our immune system was designed to be able to fend off the viruses and parasites that we encounter when we are young. It was not designed to be able to continue to the fight as we get older. Thus, when we move to different parts of the world or come into close contact with wild animals, we create opportunities for new viruses and parasites to emerge that we cannot protect ourselves against. Vaccines are able to get our immune system to learn new tricks without having to run the risk of severe illness and death from natural infection. If you look at mortality statistics around the world over the past 100 years, most of the big improvements are tied to the implementation of vaccines to stop small pox and other deadly infectious diseases.

One look at that dufus tells you all you need to know.
You could make the same argument that allowing infected and recovered people to be exposed to the virus encourages immune escape, but nobody seems to care about that.
Immune escape is always a threat, there is nothing special about vaccines to make them more dangerous in this regard.
Remember, this guy is trying to sell his "universal" vaccine so he might have a reason to go after the current vaccines :)

Jamin, somehow your brain was immune to all the best efforts of the educators and people of decency in your life, and you ended up a nominal adult with the mental faculties of an idiotic gerbil. So I guess anything is possible.
Please stop. You're so, so embarrassing.
I mean, I know you never will, as your abject loneliness forces you to seek confirmation of your existence however you can get it, even in the form of others' opprobrium or contempt. But please know that the only purpose your ejaculations on this site serve is to show the rest of us of the possible lives we could be living if we had just started punching ourselves in the head repeatedly at an early age.
How about we make fun of you for being a childish idiot. Your views are the pseudo science. Real science allows people to propose reasonable ideas and theories in a public space. The guy is not a quack, you are the quack on Letsrun who thinks he is important. This dude has the balls to speak out against media/"science" Nazis who are the true quacks and morons of 2020. Yes, Fauci is a scientific hand-waving quack-job politician, not a credible opinion on anything.

It is not that fringe....just fringe to the CNN "science" Nazi dogma. It is a reasonable thought process here. In the least the specificity of these vaccines and pressure from isolation could drive variants and the need for more and more new vaccines......they are already pushing upgrades and boosters. The shills here on Letsrun are dogmatic idiots who just need to feel empowered and superior. They are the real fringe, not scientists speaking up about reasonable concerns.
Count on the Covid suckers to not listen to anything that is outside the official BS

Isn't it amazing how liberals have become the biggest supporters of corporate pharma and corporate media, all funded by the mega-banks?
Their total obedience to the 'machine' is truly fascinating.

I thought a recent study found that individuals who took a COVID vaccine were ~8 time more likely to test positive for a COVID variant than unvaccinated. It will be interesting to see what are the long-term efects of these drugs (after 2-5 years).

Less than a year ago. politicians were pounding their fists about high drug prices.
Don't hear much about that issue these days.

Dude you realize the mRNA vaccines are beasts? They can just update it with the dominant variant every 6-12 months and boom... too easy.
Btw I got covid after the vaccine. It was 2-3 days of fatigue and an off and on low fever and that was it. Demolished. It was probably a variant too because I was traveling. So now I'm basically invincible for the next 12 months with vaccine + natural immunity.

It's not a reasonable idea. The dude is trying to sell his "miracle" vaccine and is pushing incorrect immunology to do that.
Jamin, look into "motivated reasoning". It might help you stop falling for this stuff.
