I have a gps wach that records my runs, but for the past 2~3 years I've been writing my runs in a small notebook. A few weeks ago I pulled my hamstring and I'm currently on the mend. Understandably, I'm running much less consistently and I had to take off a handful of days to recover. Ever since then I've had no desire to write my runs in my old notebook.
My question is, is there any downside to to just running what I feel and not writing in my notebook? For some reason I just feel this sense of dread when thinking about writing in the book. I've considered just having my watch record my runs since I'm not following a plan. I just didn't know if down the road I'd regret having a big blank space in my book. I imagine that one day I'd have some fluke fast race and have no clue how I trained to get there. Let me know what you think. Thanks everyone.
