Arcadia just announced they are allowing California runners only. I guess that is better than canceling outright, but ugh.
I really hope the vaccines and associated drop in cases lead everyone to decide they can run meets as normal this fall.

That’s a California health department guideline. That is an improvement from the competition in county or neighboring county only guideline they were using.
Getting the individual districts to allow their teams to travel to the meet is another challenge.

The meet might only let Los Angeles teams only come since last Saturday a LA district team was hosting a qualifier meet for teams to get in Arcadia. And guess what they allowed other districts enter despite LA only allowing LA district schools compete amongst eachother. So last second they told non LA schools they can't come then a day later they cancelled the meet. SOOOO Arcadia being in LA is a big L. They better move it somewhere else or Arcadia gonna get wiped

Actually the team that was hosting this meet wasn't part of the LA district but still resided in LA county and still had to follow LA county rules sooo yea I don't even think Arcadia is gonna happen unless Nike bribes the county lol
Arcadia is going to happen. They are having the meet of champions this week at Arcadia ha.
maybe the county trusts the meet organizers more but I still have a feeling their gonna restrict some teams from not coming
Maybe but I know there is a couple runners coming from the central section this week. For the meet of champions.

It is a smaller meet though.
central section has very low cases too
