I have been training for a flat half marathon over the last 11 to 12 weeks averaged 80ish a week with a speed workout and longer workout each week. But have only managed a weekly 14 miler (as my longest). I have ran 2:20 for the marathon few years back 2:24 before pandemic hit.
What can i run for the half.
A few workouts done.
3 x 2 mile with 3 min rest in 10:26, 10:20, 10:16.
5 x 1mile rest 2 min in 4:56 average
10 x 400 in 67s
8 x 1 mile with 3min rest in 5:03 average
3 x 3 mile with 4 min rest in 15:39, 15:30 and 15:24.
10 miler in 58:50 5miles at 600, 3 at 5:50 and 2 at 5:40
