Some states just can't stop sowing the seeds of hate, and when it comes time to reap, they wonder why they come up empty-handed.

Political advocacy is not a good look or move for a monopolistic, tax-exempt, non-profit organization. The State of Indiana should take action to tax the organization, and all states and municipalities should take action to tax revenues from NCAA events held in within their jurisdictions.

It's not political advocacy; the NCAA policies regarding transgender athletes are consistent with those of professional sports. If it's OK for states to make their own rules, they should be able to pay bonuses to recruits, extend eligibility to 5 seasons or anything else they want to do. The rules are the rules.
How to you equate a state exercising its sovereignty through legislation with a corporation, a creature of state legislation and subject to state laws, making rules. A big difference between state laws and organizational rules.
There is also a difference between the NCAA taking action because of the legislation (e.g. a boycott) and taking action on account of the legislation (e.g. it can't or won't comply with the law). If the NCAA refuses to hold events in a state because it does not believe that it can comply with that particular state's law, that's fine, and its is presumed that the legislature took that into consideration when enacting the law.

I’m not a woman and I don’t compete as a college athlete anymore so I don’t care all that much but I can see this being as unfortunate for biological women who now have to compete against biological men who identify as women (whatever the hell that even means).

Just like it’s “unfortunate” that white athletes have to compete against superior black athletes?
It’s sports, man. Getting beat by people is part of it.

If the state does ban college transgender athletes it's colleges won't be competing in championships which will make it hard to recruit any decent athletes. Seems like a pretty big price to pay, just to fire up the base.
Of course, since these athletes don't exist, it's all a moot point anyway.
Yes.
Women demand that men who say they feel like they are women be allowed to compete as women.
Makes perfect sense
If some guy has to get out there vs the women because he can't it figure it out, pity sets in.
Women need to just walk off the track in disgust.
Well done. 😊
I want to identify as a woman and runna 150 800m. You just can't argue with stupidity. The human race will always be full of unfair, nonsensical BS. No use losing sleep over it, hard to control anyways. The scary thing is, these SJWs nowadays try to play the oppression and shame cards to get what they want. For example, calling anyone who insightfully and logically disagrees a transphobe. When they get a lot of uninformed and emotional people on board, you see stuff like this--biological men in sports competition against women.
It’s sports, man. Getting beat by people is part of it.
Exactly what I say as I’m lapping kids at the local middle school track meet.
I feel like transwomen in sports is one of those issues where you hear a lot of “I’m as liberal as they come, but c’mon...” kind of opinions.
How popular among the general voting public is letting dudes kick girl’s asses in sports?
I don't understand why people are acting like "transgender participation" is controversial. Literally no one is arguing that transgender people should not be allowed to participate in sports.

Really? Which ones? Track? Gymnastics? Boxing?
Go ahead, let's hear the exceptions that prove the rule. Just about none of this nonsense is going on at a real pro level, the women would be getting killed.
Left wing idiocy/insanity....I'm starting to think liberals are actually mentally ill.

I am saying that if it means a man can go crush some women. Let’s just mix the genders in track and see how fun that is to watch (major sarcasm for you slow witted folks). Go look up Fallon fox (excusespelling if name is wrong). He fought women’s mma and it was sick to watch.

This is the part I don't get either. I love sports. I love participating. I love competing. I don't care how you identify, you should be able to enjoy the sports I love as well. I simply think that sports should be separated by biological sex (not gender) because of biological differences. If you are a biological male, you can identify as a woman, non binary, etc, and should be able to compete fully and equally in the biological male category- because it's categorized by sex, not gender. Out of respect, people should even call you by your preferred pronouns and it can be normalized for 'women' (gender identifying) to compete in the 'male' division. And no one should give you crap for it, treat you differently, hate on you, make you feel uncomfortable, call you names, etc. You should be an equal member of the team and an equal participant in the sport we all love. I don't want to exclude you or harm you in any way. I want you to be perfectly comfortable and confident in who you are- a biological male who identifies as a female. What better way to demonstrate that than by identifying fully as a woman ( in whatever ways you choose to express that) while competing in the biological male division.... I just don't get how this way of thinking is so heinously anti-trans.
*For the sake of consistency and modern definitions, if we want to categorize sports by sex, we should technically refer to them as 'Male' and 'Female' as those terms define sex. 'Men' and 'women' typically define gender.
