Stats/ Profile:
Age: 34
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 175 lbs prior to serious training, 166 lbs after
Training: Sporadic hobby jogging (22:39 5K, 1:49 HM, sub 4 marathon, 6:19 mile), then a few months of focused training that maxed out at 30 MPW. Weekly schedule included a 10 mile long run, two easy 5 mile runs, a 3 mile tempo run at 6:15/mile pace, hill intervals, and 100/200 sprints.
Mile PR: 4:59.4 self-timed. Splits were 76", 73", 76" and 74".
Is a sub 4:10 1500 / sub 4:30 mile even a realistic possibility given a few more years of training at 70+ MPW? Or is starting at age 34 too late?
